Weh Island
Weh Island is a small island located in northwest of Sumatra close to Sabang City. The 2004 earthquake and tsunami has affected the island’s ecosystem but fortunately the recovery process was smooth and quick, the disaster has not stopped the traveler to visiting Pulau Weh. More than 15 dive site, home of the rare marine life like frogfish, star gazers and gunards and larger pelagic. The topography of the sea floor ranges from deep volcanic pinnacle to lager boulders on sandy slopes.
