Krakatoa
Located in the sunda strait that separates Java and Sumatera , the waters surrounding Krakatoa are channels for strong currents. these currents carry an abundance of nutrients beneficial to the coral reefs dominating this seascape , and attract large numbers of pelagic fish and sea mammals.
The diving here varies from muck diving around the area of lampung bay to beautiful , yet challenging , drift dives . in the north west of the sunda strait are the four Krakatoa Island : Sibuku, Sebesi ,Shangyang , and Lagundi . This area offers wreck diving as well as deep dives exploring the walls and drop-offs while admiring the lavish coral reefs.
West of the sunda strait, divers are often astonished by the reefs, the volcanic pinnacles, and deep wall diving . Strange moundsformed by piles of volcanic stones add a mysterious atmosphere to the seabed.
This area also hosts Rakata , adive site offering an abundantly healthy coral reef and a wide variety of marine life including sea turtles . Krakatoa’s deep wall drops to 50 meters , down which flow rich volcanic nutrients from the crater of the volcano to the bottom of the sea, supporting life in the crystal clear waters. this is definitely a unique diving experience.

| By car: 1. Jakarta to anyer ( Serang Regency) Exit at to Cilegon Barat and then exit at tol anyer
2. Jakarta to carita ( Pandeglang Regency) Exit at tol Serang and continue toward carita
Bus : Take the bus to merak from kampung rambutan bus station , tanjung priok or pulo gadung. Get. off at cilegon bus station , Continue to anyer or carita by public car. ( duration 3-4 hours)
Boat transfer : Speed boat transfer from anyer or carita , 1.5 hours |
